War Resisters League 90th Anniversary Conference “Join WRL members and other activists from around the country as we gather to honor our history, acknowledge our current struggles and re-invigorate ourselves for the work ahead. Just weeks before the 50th anniversary of the historic Great March for Jobs and Freedom (organized by former WRL staffer and Civil Rights movement leader Bayard Rustin), we will explore our ties to movements for justice and peace across the country and around the world. Our conference will include a healthy balance of small group discussions, full conference gatherings, plenty of music, poetry and time to relax with friends old and new ó all as we conspire about radical nonviolent direct action and social change. 90 Years Young!” Info: War Resisters League 90th Anniversary Conference |
