April 13, 2009 01:41.13 AMWe're on our way to queer-marriage-friendly Iowa later today! What a wonderful surprise. We'll be at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, visiting a few classes to discuss music and social justice, then performing in concert. I'm quite sure we'll be singing the love song we wrote for our friends, Stephanie & Julie's, wedding in Maine . . . where it's still not legal. Our wedding in NY in 2001 isn't yet either, but things are looking up!
April 08, 2009 05:10.44 PMOkay, we just got home on Sunday from a month on the road, did a performance in DC in support of the 100 Days Campaign to Close Guantanamo on Monday, and, now on Wednesday, I feel like I've finally arrived here! We're catching up on sleep and business. Right now, we're talking with Sue Pate who's just started to work with us on helping to get the word out about our shows. If you'd like to help spread the word about our shows in your town, sign up here. We're also thrilled to have Michelle Williams working with us on our booking. So keep those emails coming and Bring Us To Your Town! Peace & love, Sandy
