In 2012, MI State House Rep Lisa Brown was silenced for using the word "vagina" while speaking in opposition to some of the most restrictive anti-choice legislation in the country. Author Eve Ensler came to the state the next week to lead a performance of her work, "The Vagina Monologues" and shortly thereafter CODEPINK and Ensler launched a campaign to "bring our resilient, creative, powerful vaginas to Republican fundraisers and to the convention hall". So, we wrote "Take Your Vagina to the RNC!"
